The crucible of the past several years has profoundly tested the resilience of independent scientific auditing. When I was placed under institutional investigation in March 2020, my offense was not a failure of scientific rigour; rather, it was a steadfast refusal to conform my clinical observations to a predetermined consensus.

Standing firm on a foundation of objective truth requires significant professional sacrifice. Yet, the realities faced by patients experiencing long-term adverse events following novel therapeutics demand a resolute, data-driven response. As scientists, we are called to bring these molecular realities to light.

A New Chapter: The Dr Peers Institute

Today, I am formally announcing my appointment to the Scientific Committee of the Dr Peers Institute.

Founded by Dr. Tina Peers, this organization operates at the vanguard of alternative clinical research, health education, and medical transparency. The Institute is doing critical work to address the unresolved medical fallout from recent years. They are deeply focused on treating patients dealing with Long-COVID and complex, post-therapeutic conditions.

By rigorously investigating the long-term physiological impacts of spike proteins and the underlying biological mechanisms of modRNA platforms, they are providing actionable clinical initiatives—such as the ZeroSpike Project—to help those in desperate need of restorative care.

The Data Must Guide Us

My peer-reviewed research, published in Autoimmunity, quantified residual plasmid DNA and SV40 promoter-enhancer sequences in modRNA biologics. This is not abstract theory. When the suspension warning letter arrived, demanding the disclosure of my son’s private medical information under the threat of a 20-day exclusion from his classroom, I did not quietly comply. Warnings of suspension are not indicators of an imminent medical emergency; they are administrative tools used solely to force compliance. Let me be absolutely clear: a person’s vaccination status is strictly private, personal health information. It should not be casually disclosed to anyone, nor should it be coerced out of citizens by the state. Furthermore, no child or family should ever face discrimination, segregation, or exclusion from public education based on their personal health choices.

It is critical to understand that it does not matter if your child is fully vaccinated or not. What public health is hunting for is absolute compliance—forcing you to submit either your child’s vaccine records or a valid exemption into their database. Even if your child has received every scheduled shot, public health will still threaten to suspend them if their digital records are not up to date. Silence offers safety, yet speaking out invites suffering. For the past five years, due to the pandemic, the Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA) was largely unenforced. Public health units across Ontario are now aggressively attempting to catch up. Thousands of students across the province faced suspensions this past year, not due to an actual health risk, simply for not complying with the disclosure of their status.

Consider the sheer absurdity of this bureaucratic dragnet. A student who is now in Grade 6 and allegedly missed their six-year-old childhood shots is suddenly a target for suspension. They were not considered a health risk for the past six years, so why is this an urgent suspension issue today? I immediately contacted Tamara Ugolini at Rebel News. She recognized the gravity of this overreach and produced a vital report detailing how Ontario’s compelled vaccine coercion persists in 2026, alongside this accompanying video. Her investigation exposes how the public health disclosure regime places our children’s rights at risk, favouring unquestioned compliance over educational access.

Massive waves of suspensions were handed down for missing or out-of-date records. Most of these suspensions were issued between March and April 2026, mandating exclusions of up to 20 days. They were only shortened if parents complied by either vaccinating their children or filing a formal exemption. In Waterloo Region alone, 704 secondary school students were suspended in April 2026 out of an initial warning batch of over 3,200 students. Toronto Public Health was forced to delay the suspension of approximately 30,000 students simply because their administrative machine collapsed under the weight of its own paperwork. Children were removed from school not for behavioural misconduct—which is steadily rising—but simply due to their parents’ refusal to disclose private medical information. We must build our understanding on a firm foundation of truth, not on the shifting sands of institutional intimidation.

The Severity of a 20-Day Suspension: Equating Privacy with Violence

To truly understand the weaponization of the ISPA, we must look at what a 20-day suspension actually represents. Under the Ontario Education Act, a suspension of up to 20 days is one of the most severe disciplinary actions a school board can take short of permanent expulsion.

According to the Ministry of Education’s own guidelines, a student faces this extreme level of discipline for severe, often dangerous behavioural misconduct. The list of activities warranting such a suspension includes:

• Uttering a threat to inflict serious bodily harm on another person.

• Possessing alcohol, illegal drugs, or unauthorised cannabis.

• Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Swearing at a teacher or a person in a position of authority.

• Committing an act of vandalism that causes extensive damage to school property.

• Bullying, including cyberbullying.

Look closely at that list. The bureaucratic machine is handing down the exact same 20-day punishment to perfectly healthy, well-behaved children simply because their parents refuse to upload a form to a digital database. The state is legally equating the protection of private medical information with acts of physical violence, substance abuse, and extensive vandalism. This is not about community health; it is about punishing administrative non-compliance with maximum force.

Yet, in a stunning admission of their own administrative bluff, an ISPA suspension does not even appear on a child’s Ontario Student Record (OSR). Unlike suspensions for actual misconduct, once these 20 days are served, the school simply expects the student back in the classroom as if nothing ever happened. There is no permanent mark on their academic record. It is a temporary, coercive squeeze designed entirely to break the parents’ resolve.

The Illusion of Safety: Real Risk vs. Perceived Risk

To grasp the sheer hypocrisy of these mandates, consider a practical scenario I recently discussed with the infectious disease department at a local public health unit. If an HIV-positive student gets into a physical altercation at school resulting in blood exposure, or if a student bites another child, does anyone at the school know their HIV status? Are there protocols in place to protect the other students from this actual, immediate health risk?

The answer is astonishing. For blood-borne diseases like Hepatitis and HIV, schools keep absolutely no record of a student’s status. Public health only investigates if there is a severe incident. Only then does the Mandatory Blood Testing Act, 2006 come into play, requiring an exposed person to actively apply to the Medical Officer of Health for a blood sample within seven days of the incident. Similarly, schools will not even inform parents if a child with active head lice is sitting next to their son or daughter.

School boards are suspending perfectly healthy children to mitigate a perceived risk of “vaccine-preventable” diseases, while entirely ignoring the daily, actual risks of undocumented blood-borne pathogens. Furthermore, families are reporting that children are being isolated, denied recess or transportation, confined to rooms, or even subjected to police and Children’s Aid involvement—often without any formal suspension order at all.

The Panorama Database and Global Surveillance

Parents must ask where this mandated compliance data is ultimately going, and why the burden of reporting is placed entirely on their shoulders. In Ontario, family physicians and health care providers are not automatically integrated with public health enforcement arms. Privacy boundaries established by the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) restrict automated data-sharing by the medical establishment. Consequently, the bureaucracy is forced to weaponize school suspensions to coerce parents into doing the administrative data entry for them.

ISPA requires parents to disclose their children’s vaccination status to public health authorities, with that information entered into centralized digital databases such as Panorama. While Panorama itself is not a World Health Organization (WHO) product, its development was a calculated piece of Canada’s broader strategy to meet global health standards set by the WHO, specifically the International Health Regulations (IHR) of 2005.

Following the 2003 SARS outbreak, the WHO criticized global surveillance methods. Canada answered by utilizing Canada Health Infoway to build this digital infrastructure, aiming to replace fragmented paper systems and prevent future reporting failures. Panorama now acts as the engine for detecting reportable diseases and tracking communicable outbreaks in real-time. It utilizes international data standards, such as HL7 and ICD codes, ensuring medical information can be seamlessly shared across borders.

As a WHO member state, Canada is legally bound by the IHR. Panorama provides the technical infrastructure to fulfill these obligations by standardizing data so the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) can notify the WHO within strict 24 to 48-hour timeframes for urgent events. Even though implementation varies across provinces—with jurisdictions like Alberta using different systems—all must ultimately report this data to PHAC to maintain our nation’s overall WHO compliance.

The Vulnerability of Centralized Health Data

When you hand over your child’s private medical data to the school board or public health, you are placing it into a digital ecosystem that is inherently insecure. The Information and Privacy Commissioner (IPC) of Ontario’s annual report revealed a staggering 34% increase in unauthorized access to personal information across regulated sectors. In the health sector specifically, internal “snooping” by health care workers and administrative staff accounts for a massive percentage of privacy breaches every single year.

Furthermore, Ontario’s health infrastructure has been repeatedly crippled by catastrophic cyberattacks. We have recently seen massive ransomware attacks paralyze shared hospital IT networks and regional service providers, exposing the highly sensitive records of hundreds of thousands of patients.

Unlike stolen credit card data, health records are permanent, deeply personal, and cannot be cancelled or replaced. Government-run databases have a documented history of breaches and leaks, yet families are offered little meaningful consent or recourse for concerns around these collection efforts. As a parent, your primary role is to act as the uncompromising guardian of your child’s private personal health information. You must keep it out of these vulnerable systems.

The Exemption Trap and Mandated Misinformation

Many parents assume that signing a Statement of Conscience or Religious Belief exemption permanently solves the problem. It does not. Filing an exemption only stops the automated yearly harassment from the public health unit.

The underlying systemic trap remains fully active. Even if you have signed an exemption, the system flags your child as “unvaccinated” for that specific disease, regardless of their actual clinical vaccine status or natural serological immunity. In the event of a declared outbreak, your healthy child can still be arbitrarily suspended for up to 20 days.

Furthermore, the provincial exemption forms force parents to read and tacitly acknowledge blatant scientific misinformation. When reviewing the Ministry’s mandated “Risks of not being vaccinated” section, the text relies heavily on fear rather than factual, scientific published data. A rigorous scientific review of this document reveals several glaring fallacies:

• Administrative Overreach: The form claims immunization programs result in incidence reductions of “99 to 100%,” leveraging historical data to compel modern compliance. Suspending a healthy child in 2026 for a disease that has been eradicated locally for decades (like polio) is an administrative overreach, not an acute medical necessity.

• Fear-Based Absolutism: The document asserts that delaying or refusing vaccines means you are putting your child’s “health and even life at risk.” This is an untrue, blanket statement that lacks any individualized clinical context.

• Flawed Community Logic: The form categorically claims that “when more people are immunized, there is less risk for everyone.” This forces parents to legally agree to a generalized, one-size-fits-all statement about community risk, entirely ignoring the specific, individualized serological reality of their own child.

Parents are being forced to legally acknowledge institutional propaganda simply to access public education.

The Core Philosophy: Bureaucracy over Biology

The Golden Rule: When facing a school health suspension, never argue the science or the vaccines. School administrators are mid-level bureaucrats with zero authority over public health policy. Arguing science labels a parent as a “fringe activist” and gives the administration an easy excuse to dismiss them.

It is critical to understand how to deal with the school administration. Principals are simply administrative enforcers in this system; they do not always have our children’s best interests in mind when pressed by the state. Under the law, a principal is legally compelled by Public Health to enforce the suspension order. If a principal defies the Medical Officer of Health and allows an “uncompliant” child to attend class, they themselves are guilty of an offence and face a personal fine of up to $1,000 for each day they fail to comply with the order.

This is exactly why you cannot appeal to a principal’s empathy or scientific reasoning. You must deal with them strictly through administrative procedure. The winning strategy is to argue the law and weaponize the school board’s own administrative rules against them. Schools derive their legal authority from the Ontario Education Act, not public health officials, and the Education Act imposes strict procedural safeguards. By demanding every statutory entitlement under the Education Act and enforcing strict procedural compliance under ISPA, parents can make enforcing these suspensions legally risky and administratively exhausting.

The Parent Playbook: Navigating ISPA Suspensions

Parents are not powerless. You have the legal authority to protect your children. Over the past several months, I have quietly helped numerous Ontario families navigate this exact bureaucratic maze. By deploying the strategic guidance outlined below, we have successfully returned their children to the classroom without compromising their medical privacy or surrendering to institutional coercion.

Here is the step-by-step playbook for handling ISPA suspension threats.

Step 1: Get Everything in Writing
Never debate at the school doors or over the phone. Force the school to email you the lockout notice to create a permanent paper trail of their actions.

Step 2: Demand Proof of Service (ISPA Section 8)
Under Section 8 of ISPA, a suspension is legally invalid unless the Medical Officer of Health formally serves the Order of Suspension directly to the parent. Ask the school if they are denying your child entry without proof of legal service. If a school enforces a lockout based on an unserved internal “list,” the school board becomes legally liable for an unlawful exclusion. If Public Health did not send a proper Order of Suspension, contact the Public Health office immediately and point out this procedural failure. They will often rescind the order immediately rather than face a tribunal over a mailing error.

Step 3: Spring the Education Act Trap (PPM 141)
Schools prefer ISPA suspensions since they usually require zero paperwork. The Education Act, however, imposes strict procedural safeguards for suspensions exceeding eleven days, which are legally considered “long-term suspensions”. Under Policy/Program Memorandum (PPM) No. 141 of the Ontario Education Act, any suspension lasting 11 to 20 days requires massive administrative support. Reject the basic “homework package” and demand the four statutory entitlements every child must receive during a 20-day suspension:

• A formal Planning Meeting with the Principal.

• A Student Action Plan (SAP) consisting of a legally binding written education plan.

• The Academic Component, providing continuous digital access to the specific classroom curriculum, evaluated by the teacher so no academic standing is lost.

• The Non-Academic Component, requiring school-based counseling or social-emotional supports to mitigate the emotional distress, stigma, and peer alienation caused by the lockout.

Call their bluff. School boards do not have the funding, the staff, or the time to create customized Student Action Plans and run formal planning meetings for thousands of suspended students. By demanding your lawful rights under PPM 141, you are placing an impossible administrative burden on the principal’s desk. More often than not, the school will quietly back down rather than do the required paperwork.

Step 4: Invoke the Lockbox (PHIPA) – and Anticipate the Database Tollbooth
School secretaries routinely handle private medical information during these suspensions, violating basic health privacy boundaries. In Ontario, Public Health Units are legally classified as “Health Information Custodians” (HICs). Under PHIPA, a parent can issue a “Consent Directive” (a Lockbox Request) directing the HIC not to use or disclose their health information. This legally forbids Public Health from sharing any underlying medical details or exemption statuses with the school board.

Be prepared for the ultimate bureaucratic tollbooth. When parents attempt to apply a lockbox and simply show the exemption or vaccine record for visual verification to lift the suspension, Public Health routinely refuses. They mandate that the document must be surrendered and formally entered into the Panorama system first. They will not approve your child’s return to school without feeding the digital database. This blatant refusal to respect visual verification exposes their true motive: the system prioritizes data harvesting and global WHO compliance over your child’s privacy and education.

If you choose to file an exemption to stop the automated harassment, you must simultaneously issue a PHIPA Consent Directive to Public Health. This ensures that while Public Health forces your data into their system, they are legally barred from sharing that ‘unvaccinated’ flag back down to the school board’s administrative staff. You cut the flow of information at the source, even as you fight the broader digital dragnet.

Step 5: File with HSARB (If Necessary)
The Health Services Appeal and Review Board (HSARB) is the provincial tribunal for appealing orders from Medical Officers of Health, including ISPA suspension orders. Do not walk into this tribunal expecting a fair or impartial hearing. In practice, HSARB frequently operates as a closed-door mechanism designed primarily to pressure parents into signing the provincial exemption form and surrendering their data. File a bare-bones appeal strictly as a procedural placeholder to preserve your right to escalate to an actual judge later. Reveal zero legal strategy to the opposition during these meetings, as their objective is administrative capitulation rather than justice.

Education is in Our Hands

Ultimately, we must remember that the state does not own our children, nor does the system hold a monopoly on their education. If they threaten to lock your child out of a classroom, do not view it simply as a deprivation of learning. View it as a profound reminder of your responsibility. The true duty of education belongs to the parents. Even if they are not sitting at a standardized school desk, there is immense, tangible learning to be found outside those walls—whether it is teaching them practical life skills around the house, exploring the outdoors, or simply demonstrating what it means to stand with courage against coercion. Education is in our hands.

The bureaucracy relies on isolation and ignorance to enforce compliance. Do not let them isolate you. The past five years have been a crucible. Stepping outside the conventional academic system to independently audit genomic data for residual plasmid DNA and SV40 promoter-enhancer sequences was the hardest path I have ever taken. The pushback from captured institutions was fierce. The personal and professional costs were massive. Remaining silent would have been much easier.

There have been many dark days when I wished I had never done this research. Days I wished I had just kept my head down, kept my job, and focused entirely on providing for my family. The attacks, the hit pieces from Retraction Watch, and the institutional silence brought more tears than sweat. Silence offers safety. Speaking out invites suffering.

Then I remember what my son told me the night before we released our initial preprint on the vaccine vials: “Daddy, if this work will help save lives, it’s worth doing.”

He was right. We cannot keep quiet while people perish. The vaccine-injured (and killed)—people like Sean Hartman and Michael Oesch—deserve unvarnished scientific integrity. You deserve the data without filters. I chose to speak up and hold the line.

The battlefield is constantly evolving. The COVID-19 pandemic saw a reliable and sensitive laboratory test drive massive fear of an unknown virus. This created a global “casedemic.” Most people tested were perfectly healthy. The system weaponized good laboratory testing to enforce compliance. We must return to evidence-based lab medicine and accurate diagnostic testing.

The slaughtering of 400 healthy ostriches in British Columbia last November serves as a tragic, undeniable example of this failure. Authorities destroyed an entire healthy flock over a positive PCR test from two dead ostriches the year prior. This is the weaponization of science. Remaining silent in the face of this destruction guarantees more needless loss. It needs to stop.

Standing on the outside throwing stones at a broken, captured system is no longer enough. We must build new, uncompromised infrastructure. We are here to rebuild trust in good laboratory testing, much like the ancient exiles rebuilt the foundations of Jerusalem.

Why the Name Cyrus Scientific?

King Cyrus the Great was a Persian monarch—a complete outsider to the Jewish people. Yet, he was the leader chosen by God to issue the decree to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. Based on my independent research, the medical establishment clearly sees me as an outsider today. In fact, following the publication of my findings last September, the University of Guelph terminated my appointment. Furthermore, King Cyrus authored the Cyrus Cylinder, widely recognized as the first human rights code in human history. At Cyrus Scientific, we believe in uncompromised ethics. We must stand up for the rights of all people. We refuse to stay silent while the vulnerable perish.

As Psalm 82:3 commands: “Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.”

The Changing Scientific Industry

Over the last 20 years in laboratory medicine and virology, I have watched the industry change. The pace of genomic R&D has vastly outstripped the framework required to regulate it. Incredible advancements in technology happen daily. Simultaneously, a massive “translation gap” exists between bench-scale innovation and commercial readiness. This gap is exactly where critical safety signals, residual impurities, and genomic anomalies get missed by legacy high-throughput pipelines. When these anomalies are ignored, patients are placed in direct peril.

This reality requires action. It demands a dedicated, independent vehicle to push the science forward, enforce rigorous, evidence-based standards, and take the fight directly into the boardrooms and courtrooms. We will not be silenced.

2025 ended with a quiet family Christmas, followed immediately by the sombre loss of my aunt and godmother. In the wake of that loss, I dedicated the first three weeks of this year to focusing on work and surrounding myself with an amazing support team. Their guidance on health and well-being has fortified me for the year ahead. And if the signs are right, 2026 is off to an incredible start.

The Trout Forecast: Reading the Ice

Call it superstition or coincidence, but I have a tradition: I gauge the trajectory of my year based on the degree of success during the first few days of the trout opener in Muskoka, Ontario. The greater the number of speckled trout we pull through the ice, the better the year tends to go.

The past few years provided a difficult start to the season. In 2024, despite a very mild winter and only 3 inches of ice (the bare minimum for walking), a friend and I managed only 6 out of 10 speckled trout. True to the forecast, that year turned out to be a slog—a slow grind to advance the science with very limited successes.

2025 was a different beast. It began with a heavy winter; we caught zero fish on January 1 and had a slow day on January 2. However, my son and I managed to ice two huge speckled trout: my son landed a beautiful 4-pound male, and I caught a 4-pound female. In fact, my son’s catch was recognized last week as the Ontario Out of Doors “Photo of the Week.”

The rest of that winter was gruelling, with many days spent “skunked” on the ice. This mirrored my professional year perfectly. 2025 was difficult financially, physically, and emotionally—yet, like those two massive trout, it yielded huge, undeniable successes.

Now, look at 2026. The year kicked off with biting cold (-27°C) and snow, but the fishing has been unreal.

• January 1: 4 splake iced.

• January 2: A few of us visited a favourite lake, surprised to find it had yet to be fished this winter, and managed to ice 15 panfry-sized speckled trout in 2.5 hours, including a triple header—lots of small victories with a huge ending.

• January 4: A friend and I returned to the same lake and managed to catch 10 fish in 2 hours at the same spot, suggesting consistency in our success.

If the superstition holds, the abundance on the ice predicts an abundant year. In just the last three weeks, I have already seen successful meetings and pivotal events take shape.

2025: Courageous Truth in the Face of Suppression

If I had to summarize 2025, the title would be “Courageous Truth in the Face of Suppression.”

It was a year defined by resilience amidst personal and professional attacks. It was a battle for uncensored truth, the restoration of evidence-based medicine, and accountability for authorities. My primary focus remained the pursuit of scientific integrity regarding DNA and plasmid contamination in mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.

To be completely honest, 2025 was a brutally difficult year. There were extremely successful moments bookended with moments when I wanted to give up and walk away from science entirely. But I continued to persist, thanks largely to the encouragement from those around me. I am extremely grateful to my colleagues and supporters who provided financial contributions and unwavering encouragement throughout the year. Without having such an incredible support team behind me, I may not have made it through. Despite retraction pressures, institutional pushback, and the personal toll of career fallout, we held the line together.

Here is a short summary of what we achieved.

1. The Science: Publishing the Unpublishable

The cornerstone of 2025 was the publication of rigorous, peer-reviewed evidence.

Co-authored with Dr Jessica Rose and Kevin McKernan, we published “Quantification of residual plasmid DNA and SV40 promoter-enhancer sequences in Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna modRNA COVID-19 vaccines from Ontario, Canada” in Autoimmunity (Taylor & Francis).

Key Findings:

• We analyzed 32 vials (16 lots) via qPCR, fluorometry, and Nanopore sequencing.

• Total DNA exceeded FDA/WHO limits by 36 to 627-fold via fluorometry.

• US Senate: The paper was entered into the congressional record by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) during the September 9, 2025, PSI hearing on science corruption and vaccine policies.

• CDC ACIP: Our findings were discussed during the September 19, 2025, meeting on COVID-19 vaccine safety. This spurred scrutiny regarding mRNA safety and contributed to policy shifts toward shared decision-making.

I presented critical data on DNA contamination, highlighted the quiet shift in regulatory guidelines (from 10 pg/dose to 10 ng/dose), and called for an immediate moratorium on the technology.

Through these conversations, we learned a heartbreaking truth: many vaccine-injured individuals felt completely alone and were unaware that others were suffering just like them.

The campaign was physically gruelling. During the final week, I was hospitalized for three days with cellulitis that became transiently septic. However, I had an amazing team that didn’t miss a beat; they kept the momentum going while I was out of commission. Although we did not secure the seat, the campaign was a strategic victory for public awareness. We successfully forced critical conversations about health freedom and government accountability into the political mainstream, ensuring these topics could no longer be ignored by the establishment.

Bookends: A Year of Hard-Fought Victories and Family Loss

2025 was a year of heavy lifting—publishing in the face of retraction threats, influencing Senate hearings, and standing as a candidate for political change. It was a year of hard-fought victories, bookended by two significant emotional events: a critical Christmas campaign fundraiser and the heartbreaking loss of my aunt and godmother.

I am deeply thankful to all those who stood by me in 2025. Your generosity has been a true lifeline. Specifically, I am grateful to the two campaigns in Kitchener/Waterloo and Hamilton that raised over $3,000. This support allowed us to stay afloat with rent and food during a critical time. I cannot thank you enough for providing that stability; it allowed me to focus on scientific research, advocacy, and helping those who are vaccine-injured. None of this—from the research to the recoveries—would have been possible without you. Thank you for believing in this mission and for caring for my family.

Sadly, the year ended on a sombre note. There is a tradition in my family—if one can call it that—around the Christmas season: we often lose a loved one. On Christmas morning in 1996, at 7:30 AM, I found my Grandfather, Sgt. Ed Ruthven, dead from a massive heart attack. My uncle passed on December 31, 2015, and my Nana left us on January 16, 2008.

This year, as we packed for the holidays, I had a sinking feeling that 2025 might follow suit. Sadly, on December 29, 2025, Sandra Fitzell (Speicher)—my aunt (married to my dad’s older brother, Wayne) and my godmother—fell ill with a cold, went to bed, and simply did not wake up. She was a humorous, caring lady who loved to fish and was always helping others. She will be greatly missed.

Despite the grief and battles, we move forward, continuing to spread truth in 2026.

2026: Off to a Flying Start

While 2025 ended in grief, 2026 has roared to life with incredible momentum. In just the first three weeks, we have already achieved significant milestones that signal a powerful year ahead.

Expanding the Legal and Scientific Front

• Expert Witness: I have been retained as an expert witness in several major legal cases fighting for the vaccine-injured. The tide is turning in the courts.

• New Research Teams: I am now part of two highly engaged and productive research teams. We are laser-focused on investigating the genetic integration of vaccine components and developing tangible support protocols for the vaccine-injured.

• Upcoming Publications: Several key publications are currently being finalised and will be submitted shortly for peer review. The science continues to advance.

Global Alliances and Media

• Make Europe Healthy Again: I am honoured to announce that I have joined the International Advisory Board of “Make Europe Healthy Again,” a global initiative dedicated to restoring health freedom and integrity.

• Awake Nation: On January 14, 2026, I appeared on Awake Nation, co-hosted by David Zublick and Penny L.A. Shepard. It was a powerhouse panel featuring Retired Major Thomas Haviland, Matthew Skow (filmmaker, Died Suddenly), and Dr. Sherri Tenpenny.

• Strategic Meetings: I have held several productive meetings with government officials and key collaborators to strategise our next moves.

Personal Fortification

• Freedom From Self Sabotage: To ensure I am the strongest vessel possible for this mission, I am taking a shortened version of Jason Christoff’s course, “Freedom From Self Sabotage”, coupled with one-on-one coaching. This is helping me overcome imposter syndrome and grow in courage.

• Health and Efficiency: I am prioritising my own biology through rigorous healthy eating and exercise, while also diving deep into AI tools to work more effectively and efficiently than ever before.

The Canadian Landscape: Threats and Victories

Finally, as we build this momentum, we must not ignore the precarious situation in our own backyard.

We are facing grave concerns regarding the horrendous Bill C-9 (Combatting Hate Act), legislation that threatens to strip away the bedrock of our democracy: freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Most alarmingly, this bill proposes to remove the “religious speech defense” (Section 319(3)(b) of the Criminal Code), which effectively criminalizes the expression of good-faith religious belief if deemed “hateful” by the state’s vague new definitions. By lowering the threshold for what constitutes “hatred” and removing the requirement for Attorney General consent to prosecute, Bill C-9 represents a chilling attempt to silence dissent and police our thoughts.

However, amidst these threats, we must also recognize and celebrate a monumental legal victory: the court’s confirmation that the Canadian government’s use of the Emergencies Act was illegal. This ruling is not merely a legal technicality; it is a vindication of every Canadian who stood peacefully for their rights during the Freedom Convoy. It confirms that the government overstepped its bounds and violated the law in its attempt to crush political dissent.

We must use this victory to demand accountability for the cruelty unleashed on Canadians by police who claimed they were “just following orders.” We cannot forget images like that of Csaba Vizi, a peaceful trucker who was dragged from his vehicle and brutalized by officers on national television. The excuse of “following orders” was rejected at Nuremberg, and it must be rejected here. Accountability is the only path to ensuring such tyranny never happens again.

Evolutions: A New Look for Courageous Truth

As we fight these battles externally, I am also upgrading the tools we use to communicate right here. To reflect this new season, Courageous Truth is evolving.

New Branding: Science Uncaptured You will notice a new logo and banner designed to embody the spirit of this mission. The Lion represents faith and the courage to stand; the Torch symbolizes our duty to shine a light in the darkness; the Book stands for the pursuit of knowledge; and the Shield is our defense against the attacks on truth.

This design is more than an aesthetic choice; it is a spiritual declaration found in John 1:5: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

This visual identity is anchored by our new theme: “Science Uncaptured.” This is a declaration that I will not be bought off. True science is about making honest observations, asking the difficult questions, and focusing on the facts—no matter how inconvenient those facts may be. I remain committed to pursuing scientific truth regardless of the outcome.

Expanding the Horizon - Hope and Healing: While we will continue to expose the dangers of residual DNA in COVID vaccines, our themes this year will expand. We will unpack the critical areas of PCR testing and accurate diagnostics, ensuring that the tools used on us are actually valid.

Most importantly, we are shifting focus toward solutions. I am committed to sharing real stories of hope for the vaccine-injured. This includes documenting the recovery of four individuals I know personally who are now cancer-free after using protocols involving ivermectin and fenbendazole. One of these stories involves a woman with Stage 4 cancer who was admitted to palliative care with only days to live; she is now in much better health and is preparing to be sent home. These are the stories the world needs to hear.

A Commitment to Open Access: Finally, a note on “The 12 Substacks of Christmas.” I had aspirations of releasing 12 episodes over the holidays, but only managed the first three. Writing these articles is challenging and time-consuming, but I promise the remaining nine will be delivered before the end of the year. There has been so much activity over the past year that I’m also starting a Throwback Thursday segment to highlight important events and podcasts/media appearances over the past year.

Despite the effort it takes, my promise to you remains unchanged: I will continue to keep this information freely available. I believe deeply in informed consent and freedom of information. We must educate the public, not just speak inside a bubble. Truth should never be behind a paywall.

As Christmas comes to a close, the wrapping paper has been cleared away, and the festive noise has faded, and I sit down to reflect upon our quiet family Christmas and the true meaning of this season, . In this stillness, I find myself drawn away from the commercial spectacle and back to the raw, powerful reality of the Incarnation.

It is easy to romanticize the nativity. We view it through the soft glow of Christmas lights, forgetting that Christ did not enter a world of serene comfort. He entered a world saturated in turmoil, held under the crushing power of the Roman Empire. The “silent night” was surrounded by political noise and fear.

We must remember that the arrival of the Prince of Peace was met with immediate, violent hostility by the powers of that age. Herod the Great, paralyzed by the fear of losing his grip on power to a newborn King, ordered the horrific slaughter of every male child under the age of two in Bethlehem.

¹⁶When Herod saw that he had been tricked by the magi, he was infuriated, and he sent and killed all the children in and around Bethlehem who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had learned from the magi. ¹⁷ Then what had been spoken through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:

¹⁸ “A voice was heard in Ramah,
wailing and loud lamentation,
Rachel weeping for her children;
she refused to be consoled, because they are no more.”

Jesus was born into an occupied land, amidst brutality and the desperate cries of a people longing for liberation.

It was into this very darkness that the ancient cry of the human heart rang out, a cry that still resonates today from the carol “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel”:

O come, O King of nations, bind

in one the hearts of all mankind.

Bid all our sad divisions cease

and be yourself our King of Peace.”

When I look at the world today, I see that the players have changed, but the darkness remains. We are living in a time of profound global instability. We see geopolitical tensions rising everywhere—from border disputes between Thailand and Cambodia escalating to the invasion of Cambodia, to the posturing between China and Japan, and ongoing friction between the USA and Venezuela. More than ever, our world needs peace.

Furthermore, we are only just emerging from the tail end of the COVID pandemic—an era that exposed deep fractures in our society, in our scientific institutions, and in our trust in one another. The world is weary. It is crying out for a peace that international treaties and secular solutions cannot provide.

As a scientist, I observe data; as a Christian, I look to Scripture for interpretation. The current state of affairs should not surprise us. In Matthew 24:4-14, Jesus explicitly warned us that before the end, we would hear of “wars and rumors of wars,” and that we would face conflicts, plagues, and pestilence.

⁴Jesus answered them, “Beware that no one leads you astray. ⁵ For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah!’ and they will lead many astray. ⁶ And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. ⁷ For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places: ⁸ all this is but the beginning of the birth pangs.

Persecutions Foretold

⁹ “Then they will hand you over to be tortured and will put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name. ¹⁰ Then many will fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another. ¹¹ And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. ¹² And because of the increase of lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold. ¹³ But the one who endures to the end will be saved. ¹⁴ And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world, as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. – Matthew 24:4-14

Closer to home for many of us, we feel the encroaching shadows on our fundamental freedoms. In Canada, legislation like Bill C-9 threatens to remove the bedrock of freedom of religion, subtly pushing Christianity back toward a marginalized state reminiscent of the reign of Nero. We face a world that is increasingly hostile to the Truth.

Yet, if we only focus on the turmoil, we miss the entire point of Christmas. The darkness is not the headline; the Light is.

Christ was not born simply to be a good moral teacher or a temporary political fix. He was born to save us from the root cause of all this turmoil: our sin. The true hope of Christmas is not that the world magically gets better on its own, but that God Himself stepped down into the chaos to redeem it.

We need the message from the carol “Holy Night” more than ever. It is a message that transcends politics and speaks directly to the human soul:

“Truly He taught us to love one another;

His law is love and His gospel is peace.

Chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother,

And in His name all oppression shall cease.

Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,

Let all within us praise His holy name.

Christ is the Lord! O praise His name forever!

His pow’r and glory evermore proclaim!

His pow’r and glory evermore proclaim!”

The Greatest Invitation

Therefore, as we pack away the decorations, let us not pack away our hope. We must trust in Him. The hope of Christmas is twofold: we look back to Bethlehem where He came to deal with sin, and we look forward to His Second Coming, where He will finally deal with all sorrow and establish His eternal Kingdom.

The prophet Isaiah saw this future reality clearly, promising a time when the yoke of burden would be shattered, and the government would rest upon the shoulders of the Child born unto us—the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

However, knowing about this Child historically is not enough. The peace we long for in the geopolitical sphere must first begin in the human heart. If you are feeling the weight of this world, if you are anxious about the wars and rumours of wars, or if you feel the emptiness that secularism offers, I urge you today: seek Christ.

I have spent my career examining the microscopic details of life, looking for evidence and truth. But the most profound truth I have ever encountered is not found under a microscope or in a laboratory; it is found in the person of Jesus Christ. He is the only One who can wash away sin and provide a peace that passes all understanding.

If you do not know Him, do not let this season pass without opening the door of your heart. Admit that you, like the world around us, are broken and in need of a Saviour. Believe that He died for your sins and rose again to give you life. Call upon Him as your Lord. He is not just a figure in a nativity scene; He is the living God, and He is waiting for you.

In these turbulent times, anchor your soul in the reality of the Incarnation.

The Manger’s Anchor (A Christmas Poem)

The world was dark when Christ came down, Beneath the heavy Roman crown. While Herod drew his jealous sword, The humble manger held the Lord.

The world is dark again today, With wars and rumors of decay. From eastern lands to western isles, We weary of the sad divisions’ trials.

The shadows lengthen, freedoms fade, We see the cracks that sin has made. Yet in the gloom, a Star still burns, The promise that our King returns.

He came to break the sinner’s chain, He soon shall come to end all pain. So let the Nations rage and cease; We anchor in the Prince of Peace.

Executive Summary: The “Safe” Vaccine Result Was a Lab Error

Two scientific studies recently analyzed COVID-19 mRNA vaccines to answer a critical safety question: Do they contain too much leftover DNA from the manufacturing process?

• Study A (Achs et al.) said NO. They reported DNA levels were very low and safe.

• Study B (Speicher et al.) said YES. They reported DNA levels were hundreds of times higher than the limit.

A forensic audit of how these experiments were conducted reveals why the results were so different. The “safe” result from Study A appears to be a false negative caused by aggressive cleaning methods that destroyed the evidence before it could be measured.

Key Findings

1. The “Washing Machine” Problem. To measure the DNA, Achs et al. used a purification method that “washes” the sample. Unfortunately, this method is known to wash away small DNA fragments. Since most of the DNA contamination consists of these small fragments, Achs et al. essentially flushed a large proportion of the DNA down the drain and then tested the cleaner portion, declaring it safe. Speicher et al. measured the “dirty” water directly and found the contamination.

2. The “Cooking” Error. To identify the DNA, Achs et al. heated the vaccine samples to 95°C (203°F) for 10 minutes. This is hot enough to physically break large, intact DNA strands into tiny, harmless-looking pieces. They then reported that the DNA was “naturally” broken and harmless. Speicher et al. did not boil the samples and found large, intact DNA strands (plasmids) that are potentially biologically active.

3. The “False Alarm” Defense Failed. Achs et al. claimed the high readings in Speicher et al. were just a technical glitch (the machine mistaking RNA for DNA). This was proven wrong. When a chemical that only destroys DNA was added to the sample, the signal vanished. This proves the material was indeed DNA, not a glitch.

Conclusion

The claim that the vaccines are free of excessive DNA relies on testing methods that are blind to the problem. When tested with methods that preserve the sample, the vaccines are found to contain residual DNA levels 4 to 500 times above the safety limit. This DNA is packaged in a way that allows it to enter human cells and potentially function, raising significant safety questions that were missed by standard checks.

As a scientist, when two datasets regarding the same pharmaceutical product stand in direct contradiction, the immediate—and correct—impulse is not to defend one’s own work, but to audit the methodologies.

On one hand, our study (Speicher et al) published findings indicating that COVID-19 mRNA vaccine vials contained residual DNA levels exceeding regulatory limits by hundreds of fold¹. On the other hand, a recent study by Achs et al. (2025) claims to have definitively proven that these vaccines are compliant, reporting DNA levels consistently below the 10 ng/dose limit².

On the surface, the Achs et al. manuscript appears to be the methodologically superior study, projecting an image of definitive rigor through its use of four orthogonal analytical approaches—qPCR, fluorometry, capillary electrophoresis, and Next-Generation Sequencing—to cross-validate its findings. The authors frame their work as a systematic corrective to "improperly conducted analyses," specifically critiquing previous reports for failing to rigorously control for RNA interference, which they argue inflated the results in studies like those by Speicher et al.. By ostensibly validating their low fluorometric readings with capillary electrophoresis traces that showed no visible DNA smears , Achs et al. constructed a compelling narrative that their extensive purification protocols yielded the "true" result, portraying the high DNA levels reported by Speicher as mere technical artifacts caused by insufficient RNA digestion.

To determine the ground truth, I undertook a forensic re-evaluation of the methodologies used in both studies, alongside data from König & Kirchner (2024)⁴ and Kämmerer et al. (2024)³. This analysis was conducted objectively, deriving conclusions solely from the chemical and physical constraints of the protocols employed.

The results of this audit are disturbing. They suggest that the “safe” results reported by Achs et al. are not a reflection of vaccine purity, but an artifact of aggressive purification protocols that systematically removed the contaminant before it could be measured.

1. The Quantification Discrepancy: The “Washing Machine” Effect

The central conflict lies in the Total Mass of DNA. My team utilized a “direct lysis” method, measuring the DNA directly in the vaccine mixture after dissolving the lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). We found values ranging from 371 to 2,821 ng/dose. This limitation was empirically exposed by Kämmerer et al. (2024). Unlike Achs, who washed the sample, Kämmerer used a “Direct Lysis + RNase” method—removing the interfering RNA without subjecting the sample to precipitation.

• The Result: Kämmerer detected 32.7–43.4 ng of DNA per dose ³.

• The Implication: This value is roughly 4 times the regulatory limit. By comparing this to the <10 ng result from extraction-based studies, it becomes mathematically evident that the extraction protocols used by Achs likely washed away ~75% of the DNA contaminant.

My forensic conclusion is that Achs et al. did not measure the total DNA in the vial; they measured only the precipitable DNA. Their protocol acted as a filter, discarding the bulk of the fragmented DNA with the chemical waste.

2. The Characterization Failure: An Artifact of Boiling

A second major discrepancy involves the physical state of the DNA. Achs et al. describe the residual DNA as “heavily degraded” with a median fragment size of ~154 bp. They argue this makes the DNA biologically inert.

In contrast, our study used Oxford Nanopore sequencing and detected intact DNA fragments up to 3,500 bp (3.5 kb). This suggests that full-length plasmids survived the manufacturing process.

The Forensic Flaw:

A review of the Achs et al. methods reveals a critical error in their sequencing library preparation:

“Samples were first heated at 95°C for 10 minutes to release nucleic acids”.

In molecular biology, heating DNA to 95°C for 10 minutes induces thermal hydrolysis, a process that physically shears the phosphodiester backbone of large DNA molecules. The “bell curve” distribution of small fragments (~154 bp) reported by Achs is a textbook signature of thermally degraded DNA.

By boiling the samples, Achs et al. effectively destroyed the evidence of intact plasmids before they could be sequenced. My team avoided this step, which is why we were able to detect the true, larger size of the residual DNA.

3. The “RNA Alibi”: A Hypothesis Disproven by Chemistry

The primary defence mounted by Achs et al. against my findings was that the high Qubit signals were merely “RNA interference.”

The Forensic Test:

To verify the identity of the signal, Kevin McKernan examined the results of a sequential enzymatic digestion:

1. RNase Treatment: High signals persisted, suggesting the material was not RNA (or was protected).

2. DNase I Treatment: When treated with DNase I (an enzyme specific to DNA that cannot degrade RNA), the signal vanished to baseline ⁶.

The Conclusion:

If the signal were RNA, DNase I would have had no effect. The fact that the signal was abolished by DNase I proves definitively that the material was DNA. This chemically disproves the “RNA interference” hypothesis and validates that the high signals observed in my study corresponded to actual DNA mass.

Synthesis of Evidence: The True Status of the Vaccine

By triangulating the data from my own study alongside Achs, König, Kaiser, and Kämmerer, a clear picture emerges. The “Safe” conclusion stands alone as an artifact of material loss and thermal degradation.

Conclusion: A Failure of Methodology

Based on this rigorous audit, I must conclude that the Achs et al. paper is methodologically unsound for the specific purpose of quantifying fragmented DNA impurities. By relying on purification techniques that discard the target analyte and thermal steps that degrade the sample, Achs et al. engineered a result that appears compliant but does not reflect biological reality.

The independent studies—including my own—provide a consistent signal: the vaccines contain transfection-competent, bioactive DNA at levels that exceed the 10 ng safety limit. The “safety” of these products, as presented by Achs et al., is a methodological illusion.

Red light therapy, scientifically termed Photobiomodulation (PBM), represents a quantum leap in non-invasive healing. Far from being a simple heat treatment, PBM is a biochemical process that utilises specific non-ionising light wavelengths to drive physiological changes at a cellular level, accelerating recovery, mitigating inflammation, and supporting tissue regeneration across a vast spectrum of health concerns.

The Cellular Engine: How PBM Works

The core mechanism of PBM hinges on the interaction between light and the mitochondria, the energy-producing organelles within our 37 trillion cells.

When cells are compromised by injury, stress, or age, the efficiency of their mitochondria declines, leading to:

1. Reduced Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) production: Less energy available for cellular function.

2. Increased Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) and Nitric Oxide (NO): These molecules inhibit mitochondrial function and contribute to oxidative stress and inflammation.

PBM intervenes by applying light at specific therapeutic parameters. The light photons are absorbed by a photoacceptor in the mitochondria, primarily Cytochrome c Oxidase (CCO). This absorption effectively “breaks the bond” between Nitric Oxide and CCO, allowing the cell to breathe and function optimally.

The result is a cascading series of beneficial photochemical changes:

• Increased ATP: The cell’s energy production increases, providing the fuel needed for repair and regeneration.

• Reduced Inflammatory Cytokines: The decrease in ROS leads to a reduction in chronic, damaging inflammation.

• Enhanced Blood Flow: Localized circulation is improved, delivering more oxygen and nutrients while removing metabolic waste.

The Therapeutic Wavelengths

Not all light is created equal in PBM. The efficacy of the treatment depends on delivering light within a narrow, scientifically proven band that achieves optimal tissue penetration:

Decades of research have established PBM as a valuable treatment for a multitude of conditions, ranging from physical performance to neurological health. Its ability to mitigate inflammation and drive cellular energy makes it a foundational therapy for:

My Experience

have known Tom Kerber and SunPower for a few years, but never really took the technology seriously. It certainly helped with sore muscles and strains, but it wasn’t until recently that I experienced the full potential of red light therapy.

Treatment of Shingles with the Full Canopy

In early November 2025, I developed shingles. I can already hear the vaccine advocates asking, ‘Oh, you didn’t get the shingles vaccine?’ In Ontario, Canada, the Shingrix vaccine is publicly funded for adults aged 65 to 70 and recommended for those over 50. As I am nowhere near that age, the answer is no, I did not receive it.

Initially, I mistook the symptoms for swollen axillary lymph nodes, but the pain quickly intensified along that dermatome, followed by a small patch of lesions appearing on my back. On day two, I began a comprehensive treatment plan: antivirals (valacyclovir), increased dose of Vitamin C (6,000 mg/day), increased dose of Vitamin D (10,000 mg/day), and daily red light therapy using the SunPower Full Canopy (10 minutes at 660nm and 10 minutes at 810nm).

The results were rapid. The spreading stopped within a few days; by day three, the lesions were barely noticeable; and within a week and a half, both the pain and the lesions had completely disappeared. While we certainly attacked the shingles from all angles, the red light therapy was instrumental in resolving the pain and accelerating the healing of the skin.

Reducing my stutter with the transcranial helmet

It’s no secret that I stutter, and yesterday I shared just how much of a challenge it has been. Recently, Tom Kerber suggested I try using the helmet to see if it could help improve my speech.

“The helmet” is SunPowerLED’s Transcranial Photobiomodulation (tPBM) Helmet. It effectively combines the power of ten handheld Palm devices to deliver photobiomodulation (red light) therapy to the entire head simultaneously. I figured there was no harm in trying, so I started with a protocol of 660nm for 1 minute and 810nm for 4 minutes, three times a week. I saw little improvement in the first few weeks.

However, in early November—while I was being treated daily for shingles—I increased the helmet treatment to 3 minutes at 660nm and 7 minutes at 810nm. I saw noticeable improvements very quickly. Many podcasters who have hosted me numerous times, including John Campbell, began commenting on how well I was speaking and asking what had changed. Beyond the speech benefits, using the helmet is very calming and helps me focus better.

If you watch any interview or presentation I did before November 2025 and compare it to the most recent ones, you will notice a huge difference. I’m excited to see if this leads to long-term changes.

In the often turbulent world of modern science, where narrative can sometimes supersede data, it is rare to find leaders willing to risk their own capital to defend the principles of open inquiry. Today, I want to take a moment to publicly thank one such leader: Dr. Wafik S. El-Deiry.

For those who do not know him, Dr. El-Deiry is the Director of the Legorreta Cancer Center at Brown University and Chair of the WIN Consortium in Cancer Personalized Medicine. He is a titan in the field of oncology and a man whose commitment to science is unquestionable.

Recently, Dr. El-Deiry shared a powerful message regarding the adversity I have faced since publishing my research on DNA impurities in mRNA vaccines. He wrote:

“Advocate for scientific truth molecular virologist Dr. David Speicher overcame much adversity in life and made discoveries relevant to mRNA vaccine DNA impurities. He has been under attack, lost his job, and subjected to mental torment per this interview. He and his colleagues should be recognized more for their scientific contributions rather than subjected to persecution and political censorship.”

He went on to describe the revocation of my lab access and the attempts to silence my work as “atrocious,” concluding that scientists should be “recognized, respected and not targeted.”

Why This Matters

When independent researchers are targeted for their findings, it sends a chilling message to the entire scientific community: do not look where you are not supposed to look. The personal cost—lost jobs, mental anguish, and professional isolation—is real.

Dr El-Deiry’s statement is a powerful counter-narrative. It reminds us that science is not about consensus enforced by silence; it is about the pursuit of truth, regardless of where the data leads. His support validates not just my work, but the work of every scientist who has faced persecution for asking difficult questions.

Dr. Byram Bridle has had a horribly challenging past five years since he, as an expert in vaccinology, challenged the COVID-19 vaccine narrative, starting with biodistribution. Throughout it all, Jocelyne has been an amazing woman of faith and a supportive wife.

Sadly, her health took a downhill spiral in September 2025 when she developed a Group A Streptococcal infection. It went septic, resulting in an induced coma in the ICU and the heartbreaking loss of both her hands and feet. I last saw Jocelyne in the ICU when she still had her limbs, but they were already cold and black. It has been a fierce battle for her survival, and she now faces a long road to recovery.

I last shared an update on her condition in October 2025 when the fundraiser for Jocelyne was launched.

Byram finally put out an update about Jocelyne and alerted us to a Christmas concert and fundraiser for Jocelyne. Her road to recovery is going to be challenging and long, with many expenses to fix up the house and provide the rehab and care she needs.

However, there was a moment of light this weekend. Jocelyne finally came home from the hospital just the day before the event. On Saturday, my family attended a concert at Byram’s parents’ church, which marked Jocelyne’s very first day out in public. We fortuitously arrived at the same time as Byram and Jocelyne and were able to walk into the church together. The sanctuary was packed! It was an incredible Christmas concert featuring carols and Canadian East Coast jigs and reels, including some lively tap dancing.

Despite missing her hands and feet, Jocelyne was in good spirits and humbled to see so many people. It was clear that she enjoyed the event, though it was poignant to watch; she is very musical herself and used to love playing the guitar. Many people wanted to greet her, and by the end of the evening, it was clear she was exhausted—but it was an amazing night, and great to see a smile on her face.

As we approach Christmas, I encourage you to rally around this family. Thanks to an incredible outpouring of support, $238,458 has been raised so far. While this is a tremendous blessing, the reality is that the family faces many significant, long-term expenses for prosthetics, home modifications, and ongoing care.

Children’s Health Defence – Doctors and Scientists Interview

Earlier in November, I wanted to attend the Children’s Health Defense (CHD) Conference, “Moment of Truth” (November 4, 2025) in Austin, Texas, and join my co-authors, Dr. Jessica Rose and Kevin McKernan, in discussing our seminal publication on DNA contamination. I have never really met either of them in person. They both present the information well, each with their own insight. While I have no problem with them discussing the work in our publication, as the scientist who tested the vials and wrote most of the paper, I would have loved to have shared the stage with these excellent co-authors and scientists. Unfortunately, by the time I learned of the conference and contacted Dr. Brian Hooker, the speaker lineup was already packed. Dr. Hooker then invited me to have this discussion, which is one of my best interviews to date. I thank Dr. Brian Hooker for the opportunity to discuss my role and the significance of this work, as well as the trials that I have faced over the years.

At the 34-minute mark is the story of Adam, who, as an unhealthy baby at the age of 21.5 months, developed autism following an MMR vaccine. This is a powerful story. It’s encouraging to see that while Adam cannot speak because his “stupid body won’t work,” he has a strong faith and can communicate with a letter chart. What is amazing is Adam’s cognitive awareness and his words, “I was in a silent prison.” Over the past two years, I have met many people who, after the COVID-19 shots, have found themselves in a “silent prison,” abandoned by the healthcare system and fending for survival. Too many people have been injured by the mRNA platform, and we desperately need a moratorium on this technology before anyone else gets hurt.

The Stuttering Scientist

I originally intended to write a full Substack article about “The Stuttering Scientist,” but I decided to combine it with my CHD interview in the hope of encouraging others and demonstrating that I have never let my stutter define me. I have stuttered my whole life, and it hasn’t made life easy. I was horribly teased as a child, and my high school guidance counselor told me not to attend university because he thought that I would “never make it.” Boy, was he wrong! While those negative words are still clearly audible in my head, they did not stop me from pursuing my love for science. Stuttering has caused many to overlook me professionally, both as a scientist and as a presenter, on numerous occasions. In recent years, I have even had a few podcasters tell me that I “don’t deserve air time because people would lose interest and it would be bad for ratings.” The world can be harsh at times, but it has also taught me courage, resilience, and perseverance.

I have always hated my voice—not just the sound (most people don’t like the sound of their voice) but the fact that I stutter. I know the science of what I work on inside and out, but I get so frustrated because I can’t get the words out and explain it as well as my colleagues. I had speech therapy as a child, but that didn’t help, so I avoided facing my biggest demon until recently. I am a strong advocate for personal development. In 2018, I completed a Teaching and Learning Scholar certificate (Macpherson Institute, McMaster University), which taught me the skills to teach university undergraduate students. For one of the courses, I did a research project on “Speaking Ability and Teaching Effectiveness.” Despite having a very severe stutter, I have let it have only a mild/moderate adverse impact on my life. I used to avoid public speaking to the point that during a presentation for my Master’s degree, I let the audience read the slides because I was so frustrated that I couldn’t get the words out. The course convenor of that clinical microbiology course, Dr. Joan Faoagali (who became my PhD supervisor and dear friend), paid for me to join Toastmasters. Joan always knew that I could communicate and worked with me to overcome the fear. After 15 years, I completed the rank of Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).

While Toastmasters helped me overcome the fear of public speaking and trained me to be an efficient and effective public speaker, stuttering is still a huge challenge that I face daily, accompanied by the negative thoughts and stress of “not being good enough.”

Over the past three months, I have faced the challenge of stuttering and have done some speech therapy sessions with Maija C. Hahn, CCC-SLP (owner of Encore Speech & Wellness and leader of Children’s Health Defense Florida). Working with Maija has given me a paradigm shift about how I speak. I used to try and fight through it and push through the stutter. However, being a fluent speaker is about having a constant airflow, and that is greatly restricted by being uptight, rushing, and trying to force the words out. I can also visually see the words that I’m trying to say and anticipate where I get stuck. In recent months, I have worked on being calm and not having to force myself to speak. I’ve also been working on “self-love” and not letting the negative words define me.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all the podcasters who have generously offered me airtime over the past few years. Your decision to feature me, despite the challenges I face with stuttering and the negative feedback I sometimes received, was a powerful act of belief. By recognising that my story and my scientific expertise were worth sharing, you helped me communicate my passion and encouraged me to face my own difficulties head-on. In a world where scientific dissent can cost you everything—your career, your reputation, even your sense of security—I have made it my mission to shine a light on the shadows of the medical establishment. As a molecular virologist, I recently shared my harrowing journey in a gripping episode of Liberty RoundTable Live, hosted by Sam Bushman and Lance Migliaccio.

Unlikely Messengers

There is a profound, almost poetic irony in this collaboration. Sam Bushman is blind, yet he sees the corruption of the current system with more clarity than the entire mainstream media combined. And I—the man risking everything to speak out—have a stutter.

On paper, we might seem like unlikely candidates to lead a revolution in communication. Yet, these challenges do not hold us back; if anything, they fuel us. While the establishment works tirelessly to blind the public to the data and silence dissenting voices, a blind host and a stuttering scientist are proving that the truth cannot be obscured or hushed.

A Father’s Promise

What drives me isn’t just data; it is personal. As I recounted in the interview (and shared on X), my young son once made an innocent plea that changed everything for me: “Daddy, if this will help save lives, it is worth doing.”

Those words underscore the human stakes of my work. As a father and a scientist guided by the Hippocratic oath—“first, do no harm”—I have sacrificed job security and faced relentless censorship for questioning the safety of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. I have lost count the number of people who have been vaccine-injured or are now suffering health problems after the COVID shot. Many of them feel abandoned by the healthcare system to fend for their own survival.

The Science They Want to Hide

My research, which we discuss in depth in the podcast, centers on a critical finding: residual DNA contamination in Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

In a paper co-authored in September 2025 with experts Jessica Rose and Kevin McKernan, we used fluorometry to quantify these excesses. We found levels far above the FDA and WHO limits of 10 ng per dose. This includes the presence of SV40 promoter sequences—elements historically linked to cancer risks.

As I argued in the episode:

“This isn’t just a technical glitch. It’s a fundamental breach of ethics and safety protocols.”

I draw stark lines between true vaccines and what I call “gene therapy in disguise,” warning of long-term risks like genomic integration that could alter human DNA and identity.

Fighting the “Peer Review Cartel”

The conversation goes beyond lab data. I am working to expose a “peer review cartel” that has been weaponized against dissenters. From media bans to professional ostracism, I have lived through the consequences: losing research positions, enduring online harassment, and watching colleagues fold under pressure.

During the discussion, we touched on broader, sobering themes—historical eugenics, elite-driven population control, and the COVID-era suppression of alternatives like ivermectin. These power structures silence voices that threaten the status quo, and I believe we must look to the Nuremberg trials as a model for future accountability.

On November 20, 2025, “journalist” Ellie Kincaid reached out for comment, and I promised a response. It’s been a crazy week being sick with shingles, but as promised, here is my response.

Dr David Speicher Responds

The Retraction Watch article is a hit piece and a clear example of the weaponisation of science. Our manuscript has already undergone a thorough peer review, during which both reviewers provided many detailed comments. I have no problem putting our manuscript through a thorough peer-review grind because most times you receive constructive and encouraging scientific feedback that makes it a better paper. This time it was different. While many of their comments/concerns were addressed and led to a better manuscript, there were some comments that we did not agree with thus did not act upon. The purpose of peer review is to provide an unbiased assessment of the scientific merit of a manuscript. It is not the role of the reviewers to act as scientific gatekeepers or to delay the publication of scientific research.

The initial comments from Reviewer 1 were so biased and unprofessional that I submitted a formal complaint on July 14, 2025 with the editor-in-chief. As there is still an ongoing investigation, I won’t provide the details of the complaint. In the latest Retraction Watch report, they published Reviewer 1’s report.

My letter of complaint highlighted the following problems with the review.

1. Misrepresentation of the Manuscript’s Aim

3. Lack of Understanding of Vaccine Lot Sizes and Data Interpretation

4. Prejudicial Assessment of Authors’ Credentials

5. Dismissive and Speculative Language

I thank Retraction Watch for bringing multiple issues related to breaches in scientific and peer-review integrity to our attention. Both Ellie Kincaid’s email and article have informed us of the following information:

• Referee 1 is in fact Dr Rolf Marschalek of Goethe-Universität Frankfurt/Main.

• Dr Marschalek leaked his review to Retraction Watch, thereby violating peer-review integrity.

• Dr Marschalek is a co-author with Stephanie Kaiser, whose method for measuring the DNA via fluorometry is inherently flawed. We have more than adequately addressed this in the response to the reviewers and in Kevin’s Substack article above.

• Dr Marschalek stated that he deems our manuscript “is ‘a mission’ for the ‘anti-vaxx community’ and not a scientific paper”. This language is extremely unprofessional and biased (see the next point). This is a scientific paper, and we clearly described the methods used and presented the data clearly and in an unbiased way. We even erred on the side of caution, flagged the issue, and encouraged other scientists to investigate. This clearly shows that he is not recused from bias.

• As for the “anti-vaxx” comment, I find this term extremely unprofessional and derogatory. I am not “anti-vax”!!! I have all my vaccines, including yellow fever, when I worked in Kenya. However, after what I know about COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, I would never put one in my body and am glad that I never have. What I am against is any medical product that is rushed to market without proper testing, mandated, and has caused harm. Our paper points to multiple ways these shots can cause harm, and we don’t attribute all of it to the DNA contamination.

• Dr Marchalek complained that “They didn’t change all the things I recommended,” he told us, and he “wasn’t satisfied with the revisions.” As an author, I do not need to change everything that a reviewer recommends, and I am allowed to disagree with a reviewer, provided that I can provide a clear and factual explanation as to why a change was not made. Manuscripts are sent to 2-3 reviewers because people have different expertise and opinions. It is the editor’s responsibility to make the final decision to accept or reject the paper based on scientific consensus between the reviewers and the author’s written response to comments and/or corrections made to a manuscript. It is the editor’s decision whether or not the authors addressed the reviewer’s comments completely and accurately. According to Dr Casali’s response to Retraction Watch, our corrections and comments to the review “were deemed by the AE to have properly addressed the issues”. It is not the reviewer’s responsibility to hold the journal hostage by refusing to publish a manuscript simply because they disagree with the political message.

• Dr Marchalek clearly has undisclosed conflicts of interest as (i) he was a co-author with Stephanie Kaiser (see above) and a publication trying to disprove the DNA contamination story, and (ii) he has received substantial (at least €1.25 million) from Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) to push the mRNA vaccine platform. He should have declared his conflicts of interest and refused to review our manuscript.

Therefore, following the publication by Retraction Watch, I have filed another formal complaint with the journal and with Dr. Marchalek’s institution, highlighting three key breaches of scientific and peer-review integrity.

1. Releasing of confidential peer-review documents to RetractionWatch when it’s a clear violation of the journal’s policy and COPE guidelines.

2. Dr. Marchalek’s undisclosed conflict of interest.

3. Dr. Marchalek’s unprofessional and biased behaviour.

Both the Dr Paolo Casali (Editor-in-Chief) and Dr Jade Boyd (Publisher) have responded that they have received our complaints, but that “the investigation into the concerns raised is in progress. Our investigation includes additional independent expert assessment and review of all associated editorial processes. Since that investigation is currently ongoing, we cannot comment further about the article at this stage.”

Kevin just put out a Substack into Dr Marchalek’s research, funding and conflicts of interest.

What I hope for an outcome

In my previous post I called this manuscript “The Hammer” as it has definitely made a dent in the trust in the mRNA platform, but it has also been used to expose the corruption in the peer-review process and the gatekeeping cartel.

While I am not concerned with the journal investigating our manuscript again, as that is part of the journal policy whenever they receive a critique, I hope that Autoimmunity does a fair assessment of the whole peer-review process, including the breaches of integrity on the reviewer’s behalf. The whole cartel and Dr Marchalek’s unprofessional behaviour has put the journal in a difficult position. This scandal is coming to the public’s attention and the journal cannot simply sweep this one under the rug. We can only hope that they respond ethically and responsibly.

As for Retraction Watch, it is ironic that they are under the umbrella of “The Center for Scientific Integrity”, yet their methods are the exact opposite. At the bottom of their articles is the following statement. Perhaps it’s time they lost their charity status for racketeering and the weaponisation of science.

I’m Canadian, so our Thanksgiving was 6 weeks ago (2nd Monday in October). Still, I am thankful for the many friends that I have met over the past year. Scientific and medical colleagues with whom I have stood shoulder to shoulder, revealing the facts of the mRNA vaccine platform. To the many podcasters and directors who have recognised the importance of my message and patiently helped me be heard. To all who have supported my family financially and emotionally over the past year. To an amazing God who continually provides and guides our steps.

The air is crisp, the sun a golden haze, as Nature burns in these autumnal days. The forest floor, a tapestry of fire, where scarlet, gold, and russet leaves aspire to dance and drift upon the gentle breeze, A quiet peace among the ancient trees.

Simple Summary of our Publication

Here’s a simple video summary of our publication, designed to help the general public understand the significance of this important work.

Executive Summary

1. Too Much Leftover DNA Breaks Safety Rules: Tests showed all Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccines had way more leftover DNA than allowed (over FDA/WHO’s 10 ng per dose limit). Pfizer doses were 36-153 times over, Moderna 112-627 times, meaning billions of DNA pieces per shot. Old rules don’t fit because this DNA is wrapped in fatty particles (LNPs), making it riskier for health.

2. Cancer-Linked DNA Part in Pfizer Vaccines: A piece of DNA called SV40 promoter (0.25-23.72 ng/dose) was found only in Pfizer shots, not Moderna. This raises alarms as it is targeted to enter the nucleus, cause mutations, and may promote tumours by blocking a cancer-fighting protein (P53).

3. DNA is Shielded and Easily Enters Cells: The DNA resists breakdown because it’s protected within LNPs, which boost cell entry by 10-100 times. This could mean longer-lasting DNA and higher risks not covered by current safety rules.

4. DNA Tests Underestimate Amounts, Some Over Limits: qPCR found Moderna under limits, but 2 of 6 Pfizer batches were over the 10 ng/dose limit for SV40 (twice the limit). qPCR misses small DNA bits, so total DNA is likely much higher.

5. Possible Link to Side Effects: Higher DNA levels might be tied to reported problems, including serious ones in VAERS. In Canadian data, 58% of issues were severe. This needs more research, as extra DNA could raise long-term risks like cancer from DNA integrating into genes. VAERS typically reports short-term data and there’s no way of telling the batch sizes distributed. More research is needed to determine the actual cause of adverse events, if synthetic plasmid DNA is actually inserted into the genome, and what short-term and long-term risks are associated with this extra DNA, and its effect on the immunological function, given the adjuvant-like properties.

6. Batch Differences Call for Better Rules: DNA levels varied greatly between and within batches, especially Pfizer, hinting at production issues. Regulators require clearer methods for measuring DNA using multiple redundant tests (e.g. qPCR assays to multiple plasmid sites) to ensure accurate safety checks.

Background

Crazy how time flies. I’ve been struggling to get this out since the manuscript was first published on September 6, 2025. So much to keep up on, and it’s taken way too long to get out. I can’t keep up with how quickly Kevin McKernan and Jessica Rose publish Substack articles. As RetractionWatch has just published a second hit piece on this manuscript, I documented the history and importance of the work in case it gets scrubbed. This journey has been more tears than sweat (literally), but as my son told me the night before our preprint was released in 2023, “Daddy, if this work will help save lives, it’s worth doing.” I hope this Substack provides insight, education, and encouragement on many levels. It’s been a long journey, from when I held my last full-time job to this manuscript being published. It’s a heavy-hitting piece that will hopefully make a difference in the world. I christened this manuscript “The Hammer”.

My challenging personal and professional journey over the past 5 years prepared me to answer the international call to confirm the initial findings of genomics expert Kevin McKernan. In April 2023, Kevin McKernan altered the world to high levels of plasmid DNA and SV40 promoter-enhancer nuclear localisation sequences in the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. The SV40 promoter-enhancer were not disclosed to the health regulators upon application for approval. Unsurprisingly, Kevin’s work was met with pushback on multiple issues: the sample size, possible lab contamination, etc. Our response was to conduct an independent study using vials obtained from pharmacies in Ontario, Canada, with Kevin’s PCR assay and Qubit methodology. This resulted in a pre-print that was released publicly on October 19, 2023 and was followed 6 hours later by an Epoch Times article stating that “Health Canada Confirms Undisclosed Presence of DNA Sequence in Pfizer Shot”.

As of November 25, 2025, this pre-print has been viewed 238,308 times and downloaded 23,208 times. It was also instrumental in the Florida State Surgeon General Dr Joseph Lapado’s January 2024 call to halt the use of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. However, we were always accused of this not being solid science and only a “pre-print”. This published manuscript expanded from the initial 27 vials in the preprint to 32 vials (Pfizer: 10 vials, 6 lots; Moderna: 22 vials, 10 lots), dropped the Proportional Reporting Ratio (PRR) analysis, and was submitted for publication. The paper was submitted to 3 different MDPI journals. Despite editors promising a fair review, each rejected it without sending it to peer reviewers. We experience a very similar response from Cureus. It became painfully clear just how deeply Big Pharma has captured scientific journals. I was then approached by Dr Panagis Polykretis, Guest Advisor, for a special edition in Autoimmunity called “Autoimmune Inflammatory Reactions Following Genetic Vaccination”, where the manuscript went through a rigorous peer-review process and received an impartial final decision from the Editor-in-Chief of the journal.

The manuscript is now indexed on PubMed.

Why is it so important that this manuscript is now peer-reviewed, published, and on PubMed?

To make a significant impact in court cases and government hearings, research findings have traditionally been held to the standard of going through the peer-review editorial process before being accepted as scientifically reliable in court and legislative procedures. Preprints, substacks and social media posts do not carry any weight. Some manuscripts, like Kämmerer et al. were peer-reviewed but do not have a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), and carry less scientific weight. The other main peer-reviewed publications include both Brigitte König and Stefanie Kaiser. The ongoing König vs Kaiser debate was covered in our publication. While many thought that our manuscript would never be published in a PubMed-indexed journal due to how captured the journals are, this was so important that we didn’t give up despite many trying to scrub the DNA contamination story.

Replication trumps publication, and our results have been replicated globally.

The chart shows all the studies that have tested the residual DNA in COVID-19 vaccines, and comes from a Google sheet maintained by Kenji Fujikawa.

Even high school students working under FDA supervisory personnel on the FDA campus tested Pfizer vaccine vials and found that the DNA present exceeded the FDA-mandated regulatory limits. This work further supports our and other researchers’ findings of the same and validates our work in the most ironic of experimental circumstances.

This confirms that plasmid-gate must be true.

Therefore, we can be certain that there is residual plasmid DNA in the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, with all Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines having an SV40 promoter-enhancer nuclear localisation sequence in their plasmid.

Research Team and Contributions

1. Dr David Speicher - as the lead on this research project, I tested all the vials, did the analysis, wrote most of the manuscript, and handled the peer review and manuscript proofs. To date, I have tested 44 vials from Canada (this study), Australia, and Ireland.

2. Dr Jessica Rose - did all the VAERS analysis, reviewed the data, proofread the manuscript before publication, and has been the spokesperson for this work.

3. Kevin McKernan - designed the PCR assays and provided the qPCR and Qubit® reagents free of charge, performed the Oxford Nanopore (ONT) and DNase I-XT experiments, reviewed the data, and helped write the manuscript. Kevin was a huge help in responding to the reviewer’s comments and reviewing the proofs for accuracy.

4. Acknowledgements

   1. Dr Maria Gutschi - this work would not have been possible without the help of Maria. Maria invited me to join the project and asked me to test the vaccine vials. Maria obtained the vials for this study from various pharmacies…sort of like Jyn Erso in Star Wars: Rogue One. She also helped with the regulatory aspects of the manuscript.

   2. Dr David Wiseman - was involved early on in this research, provided insight and editorial advice, and performed the PRR analysis that was not used in the published version.

The following acknowledgements section was in the manuscript proof, but for unknown reasons is not in the published manuscript. Dr Maria Gutschi has been a close friend and colleague over the past few years, and I am extremely grateful for all her support.

What do we know about the plasmids?

1. Synthetic plasmid DNA is present in all COVID-19 mRNA vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna.

2. The DNA is fragmented (average: 214bp, longest found: 3.5kb). The regulatory guidelines state that DNA fragments in vaccines should ot exceed 200bp.

3. The Pfizer vaccines contain SV40 promoter-enhancer sequences that were not disclosed to the regulatory authorities when they applied for EUA. These same sequences are bioactive, have been used to integrate DNA fragments into cellular genomic DNA for decades.

4. High levels of plasmid DNA are in the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines to serve as an adjuvant. Dr Robert Malone put out a Substack about this yesterday, but he’s about 8 months behind. In April 2025, Dr Maria Gutschi published a Substack asking (1) if the mRNA vaccines are actually DNA vaccines, and (2) is the fragmented DNA, specifically the SV40 promoter-enhancer acting as an adjuvant. Maria points out that the SV40 promoter-enhancer could promote more antigen production as it contains multiple CpG dinucleotides. Dr Siguna Mueller also has a paper under review on this exact topic.

Guest Advisor of Autoimmunity

Dr. Panagis Polykretis highlighted the significance of our work and how he invited us to submit to the article to the Special Issue by Autoimmunity that he served as Guest Advisor for, titled “Autoimmune Inflammatory Reactions Following Genetic Vaccination”. He clearly stated that our article “underwent a thorough peer-review process and received an impartial final decision from the Editor-in-Chief of the journal. Consequently, I am honored to have played a role in the formal publication of this critically important paper.”

Sadly, following the publication of our manuscript and the beginning of the offensive attack by Retraction Watch, this special issue was terminated and scrubbed from the internet. We knew then that we were over the target…more on this below and in the next post.

Rebel News Press Release

The Hammer has a Global Impact

This manuscript is the biggest publication that I have ever done. While in some ways publishing this science could be considered career suicide, it has also sent shock waves globally. It was published on September 6, 2025 (Saturday) and reached the desk of President Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (Secretary of Health and Human Services) by September 8, 2025 (Monday).

On September 9, 2025, Senator Ron Johnson entered our manuscript and the DNA contamination issue into the congressional record. Senator Johnson then schooled Jack Scott, MD, on the problems with the mRNA vaccines and the DNA contamination. In the video below, Senator Johnson put our manuscript on the bench.

On September 11, 2025, Jessica, Kevin and I went through the fine details and significance of this newly minted manuscript with Dr Wafik El-Deiry and Dr Charlotte Kuperwasser, who then addressed the issue of DNA contamination and SV40 promoter-enhancer on Day 2 (September 19, 2025) of the Advisory Committee on Immunisation Practices (ACIP) meeting. This sparked much discussion, and things got spicy when the FDA admitted to Dr Kirk Milhoan that they did not test the vials for DNA contamination and relied on Pfizer and Moderna’s data. Just another instance where our work has highlighted the corruption and fraud being committed.

Since publication, this manuscript ranks #3,443 of over 29 million research articles tracked by Altmetrics (that’s all science manuscripts published and tracked) and is the #1 paper published by Autoimmunity.

Public Presentations

While I am thankful that both Jessica Rose and Kevin McKernan can speak and explain things way better than I can, with them taking most of the public appearances at conferences and podcasts, it has left me feeling a little like a third wheel. However, I am thankful to friends like Dr Janci Lindsay who support my work. I have felt overlooked at times, but I’m not in this for the celebrity status. These shots have caused so many people harm, like Sean Hartman (17 year old who died after his first Pfizer shot just so he can play hockey) and Michael Oesch (received 4 Moderna shots and is now abandoned in a long-term care home), and we must ensure that the scientific truth gets out and that a moratorium is placed on the mRNA platform.

I am thankful to the many who have had the patience to talk with me about my research and these important findings.

Over the next week, I’ll be posting many of those interviews and presentations.

Pushback

It’s no surprise that we are getting tremendous pushback and that RetractionWatch has made two swipes at us as scientists in an attempt to get our manuscript retracted. The big pharma investors, like Kevin Patrick, do not want the facts out that these drug products are neither safe nor effective, and proving the DNA contamination by having it in the peer-reviewed PubMed-indexed published literature is a complete threat to the establishment. We knew this would happen when the manuscript was published, and it’s only a matter of time before we see how low they are willing to go to scrub this work from existence. In my next post, I will publish the second formal complaint that I made to the journal about the unethical and unprofessional behaviour of Referee 1.

Conclusion and Support

I am extremely thankful to the many friends and colleagues across the globe who have supported me and this research. There have been many dark days when I wished that I had never done this research, kept my head down, and kept my job. While there would be money coming in to help feed and clothe my family, I knew that publishing this work was essential. On Friday many children went door to door trick-or-treating or to Halloween parties, and the celebration ends for another year. But, the over 10-month long witch hunt in BC continues. The ostrich population at Universal Ostrich Farm (UOF) in Edgewood, BC, under the Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) control for more than 6 weeks now, appears to be dwindling unexpectedly. This is despite a stay of execute of these birds until the Supreme Court of Canada delivers their decision on November 6, 2025, of whether it will be willing to consider the case where the CFIA has ordered their execution.

Over a year ago the CFIA issued a cull order for ~400 ostriches residing at UOF based on positive PCR results for the influenza virus H5 gene following testing of two birds that had been dead for over 20 hours.

At that time CFIA did not have sufficient data about the virus that infected the ostriches, such as a positive test for the N1 gene or that it was in fact a highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) virus. Subsequent full genome sequencing confirmed that the virus was a hybrid mix of high and low pathogenicity H5N1. Such a mixing of influenza genes would typically result in reduced pathogenicity. This is evident as HPAI typically kills about 85% of an infected bird flock, whereas only 15% of the UOF flock of about 450 ostriches succumbed to the disease.

By January 15, 2025, there was no further evidence of sickness from the virus in the flock. Ten months later, the ostriches have remained healthy and disease free. Nevertheless, the CFIA has remained committed to the extermination of the ostriches despite a large public outcry and requests from the US Administration for Health and Human Services (HHS) to preserve these birds due to their scientific value.

The ostriches presently offer no threat to each other, wild birds, other animals and people. However, the CFAI has maintained in court proceedings with their experts that the ostriches may still be asymptomatic and shedding (spreading) active virus. Yet, the CFIA has forbidden testing of the ostriches to support this highly unlikely hypothesis. Moreover, the agency has expressed concerns that the soil of the UOF may also contain active virus that could infect other wild birds even a year later. Such claims are scientifically unfounded.

Ironically, the main business activity of the UOF is research using ostriches to produce antibodies against infectious diseases and other health by-products found in the eggs from these birds. The UOF had been engaged in research into the creation of antibodies against the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which is responsible for COVID-19. All the COVID-19 vaccines on the market have targeted the spike protein. What makes ostriches ideal for industrial-scale antibody production is that the yolk of their large eggs is rich in a type of antibody that is uniquely highly stable to almost boiling and very acidic and basic conditions.

The typical purchase price of a full-grown ostrich is over $6,000, but if the antibodies produced in an egg are against an important target protein in research, the purified antibodies recovered from a single egg could fetch tens of thousands of dollars in the research reagent market. Ostriches can live up to 75 years, and each female can produce 30 or more eggs in a season. Many of the ostriches at the UOF are more than 30 years-old and could lay eggs for up to 55 years.

With almost anything they are immunised against, such as proteins from an infectious pathogen, they will produce antibodies in their blood and eggs that specifically target viruses, bacteria, or fungi. Such antibodies are valuable for research purposes, for development of diagnostics such as rapid antigen tests, and even therapeutic antibodies to treat an infection.

One of the applications that was being studied with a UOF research collaborator from Kyoto Prefectural University in Japan was the development of anti-spike antibody-coated air filters and masks that could capture the SARS-CoV-2 virus and detect the presence of the pathogen. With the recovery of the UOF ostriches from H5N1 influenza virus, these birds and their eggs are likely to be replete with antibodies against the virus, which could be used to coat air filters and masks to protect the commercial bird flocks and their handlers.

There are very few flocks of birds in the world in a controlled environment where the effectiveness and duration of naturally acquired immunity to the H5N1 virus can be studied. As 85% of the ostriches survived the last outbreak of H5N1 infection on the UOF site, the remaining birds clearly have natural immunity, a fact acknowledged by the CFIA. Robert Kennedy, Jr., the Director of the US HHS has reached out a few times to the Canadian Government requesting that these valuable birds be saved for their scientific importance. Even the US Government has recognised their worth, but when will the Canadian government follow suit?

The UOF is in its own zone, so the outbreak at this farm has not materially affected the poultry industry international trade for other farms in BC or elsewhere in Canada. It has been nearly ten months since any ostrich has shown signs of illness, making them “disease-free.”

Over the last 4 years, there have been 586 Canadian outbreaks of avian influenza, mainly at commercial (not research) poultry operations. The imposition of the stamping-out policy by CFIA has resulted in the destruction of at least 20 million domestic fowl on farms in Canada. That’s many jobs and incomes for very many people and their families - not even including the people that could have been fed.

CFIA claims that the “elimination policy” remains the only viable strategy to control the spread of highly pathogenic avian influenza. This is despite the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) guidance that allows for regaining of “disease-free” status after one year for a zone if an HPAI infection is allowed to “burn-out” instead of being stamped-out.

Some have suggested that the CFIA’s handling of the UOF affair as an example of government over-reach, whereas the agency has maintained that their actions are to safeguard the health of Canadians and preserve the poultry industry in Canada by preventing the spread of HPAI.

The evidence of the effectiveness of the stamping-out policy, which has resulted in financial hardship and closure for many smaller poultry farms, is questionable, especially in view of the widespread distribution of the virus in wild birds and other animals in North and South America.

Over the last 6 weeks, the CFIA has taken control of the UOF site and ostriches, in an operation that is costing hundreds of thousands of dollars a day. Normally, it take up to a few years before an ostrich is comfortable around its handlers, and these prehistoric creatures are well-equipped with clawed toes to take on even lions in the wild. Ostriches are the largest and heaviest of the bird species, with weights that can exceed 150 kilograms. It is amazing that the hazmat-suit clade CFIA workers have been able to walk amongst the highly stressed ostriches on the UOF site, and one wonders whether they have been drugged to be docile.

On Thursday, November 6, 2025, the Canadian Supreme Court will finally decide whether or not they will hear the case of the witch hunt by CFIA against these healthy ostriches. Hopefully, they will see the value in maintaining their life, relying on up-to-date science and preserving this precious resource.

Tragically, Dr. Hodkinson’s principled stand triggered vicious retaliation from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), which launched a protracted witch hunt against him. Despite his expertise, he endured a gruelling disciplinary hearing in November 2024, where the CPSA accused him of unprofessional conduct for 17 critical statements made in 2020 and 2021—allegations he contested vigorously, admitting only to technical breaches of ethical codes in his phrasing, not to any factual inaccuracy. The tribunal, in a March 2025 ruling, issued a mere caution, ordered a remedial online course on advocacy, and slapped him with a $5,000 fine to cover investigation costs, effectively punishing his dissent while making no finding of misinformation. This blatant suppression underscores the dangers of censorship in medicine, yet Dr. Hodkinson persists in his fight for truth.

Dr Byram Bridle is a good colleague and friend who has faced more than any human should have had to in the past 5 years. From being criminally harassed by colleagues to being banned from his lab/office. Bridle is an associate professor of viral immunology at the University of Guelph’s Department of Pathobiology and Ontario Veterinary College, where his research focuses on designing innovative vaccines to combat infections and precision cancer therapies that combine immune-boosting strategies with viruses engineered to target and destroy tumours while protecting healthy cells. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Bridle drew attention for his critiques of vaccine safety, notably referencing biodistribution data from a Japanese regulatory review of Pfizer’s rodent study to contend that the mRNA vaccines’ spike protein circulates systemically and accumulates in organs like the ovaries, liver, and spleen, potentially functioning as a toxin with risks to fertility and cardiovascular health. These assertions, however, faced significant pushback from scientists and fact-checkers, who highlighted that the vaccine-produced spike is a stabilised, non-pathogenic version that doesn’t replicate like the virus and dissipates quickly from the body without causing harm. During this time, Dr Bridle has experienced intense harassment from colleagues after publicly sharing his vaccine concerns, including online attacks and professional pressure to censor his views, which prompted an investigation into complaints against him under the university’s workplace harassment policy and led to his removal from campus, barring him from his lab and office for over three years until late 2024. During that time, Dr Bridle has served as an expert witness in multiple court cases against the government’s COVID-19 mandates.

Jocelyn Bridle

Behind this good man is an amazing and God-fearing woman with a heart of gold for children and people in need. Horrifically, in September 2025, Jocelyn suffered from a sudden and severe Group A Step infection that went septic and left her in the fight of her life.

Group A Streptococcus (GAS), or Streptococcus pyogenes, is a common human pathogen that typically causes mild superficial infections such as strep throat or impetigo. However, in certain cases, GAS can undergo bacterial translocation, a process where the bacteria cross epithelial barriers (e.g., in the throat, skin, or gut mucosa) to invade deeper tissues or enter the bloodstream.

Translocated GAS causes bacteremia, triggering a cytokine storm and toxins (e.g., superantigens like SpeA). This evolves into sepsis—systemic inflammation and organ dysfunction—or Streptococcal Toxic Shock Syndrome (STSS), marked by hypotension, rash, fever, and multi-organ failure (e.g., renal, hepatic). Risk factors include skin wounds, immunosuppression, or viral co-infections; progression can occur rapidly (hours).

Invasive GAS infections have a case-fatality rate of 11.7-20%, rising to 40-60% with septic shock or STSS. In ICU settings, 19% die in-hospital and 22% by day 90; elderly patients face ~15% mortality from invasive cases. Early intervention is key, as risk peaks in the first 1-7 days.

Unfortunately, the hospital did not want to use Dr Paul Marik’s high dose Vitamin C IV therapy for sepsis and decided to follow their protocols. Thus, to save Jocelyn’s life, the hospital put Jocelyn in an induced coma and restricted blood flow to the hands and feet. The reduced coma was supposed to only last a day ended up lasting almost a week. It has been a horrific journey watching Dr. Bridle fight for his wife’s survival, but it has also been a joy and blessing to see how strong they are in their faith. With each text message received, it was clear that they put everything in God’s hands. The verse above is what Jocelyn has often muttered as she goes through this journey, and I know that God is holding them in his hands.

Fortunately, Jocelyn is still with us, but due to the severe treatment needed, she has lost both her forearms and lower legs and will need lots of medical support and round-the-clock care. It is going to be a long road ahead, and they need our support. They also have an amazing son, Johnny, who has Down syndrome. Jocelyne spent her days caring for other people in need, like Johnny, but it’s now time to provide that needed support to her.

International Tribunal, recognised by Canada’s Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs on December 13, 2024, operates on a nation-to-nation basis with unsurrendered Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island, as affirmed by Canadian legal precedents (e.g., Calder v. Attorney-General of British Columbia [1973], R v. Sioui [1990], R v. Cote [1996]). The Tribunal’s authority is grounded in Indigenous Common Law (R v. Executive Summary

1. Avian influenza is not new. Waterfowl is the viral reservoir and spreads the virus between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

2. UOF’s 400+ ostriches are critical for antibody research, producing Immunoglobulin Y (IgY) from eggs to develop treatments for diseases like H5N1 and COVID-19, making them a unique scientific asset. Their culling is a tremendous loss to science.

3. Ostriches pose a low risk of spreading H5N1 to poultry or wild birds due to their flightless nature, rural farm isolation, and lower viral shedding compared to ducks, with no new cases in 10 months.

Avian Influenza Overview

Influenza A viruses are a diverse group of RNA viruses known for their ability to infect nearly every mammalian species, including humans, pigs, horses, and even marine mammals like seals, as well as birds, which are their primary target. These viruses adapt through mutations and genetic reassortment (i.e. anitgenic shift and drift), enabling them to cross species barriers, though sustained transmission in new hosts often requires specific genetic changes. Their versatility stems from surface proteins—hemagglutinin and neuraminidase—that allow them to latch onto and invade host cells across different animals. It is the genetic differences in the hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) proteins that determine the name of the subtype of the Influenza A virus (e.g. H1N1, H5N1).

Avian influenza, commonly known as bird flu, is a contagious infection caused by specific influenza A subtypes, primarily affecting birds but occasionally jumping to mammals, like humans or pigs, though human-to-human transmission remains rare. Wild aquatic birds, such as ducks and geese, serve as the natural reservoir, carrying the virus without severe symptoms and spreading it globally during migration through contaminated droppings, saliva, or mucus. Transmission occurs when healthy birds ingest or inhale the virus from tainted water, feed, or soil, or through direct contact like beak-to-beak interactions; shared equipment or human movement (e.g., contaminated shoes or vehicles) can also spread it. Strains vary in severity: low pathogenic avian influenza (LPAI) causes mild symptoms like sniffles or reduced egg production, while high pathogenic strains (HPAI), like H5N1, devastate flocks with symptoms such as haemorrhages, neurological issues (e.g., twisted necks), and mortality rates exceeding 75% in lab-tested chickens. Avian influenza has been around for hundreds, if not thousands of years and has only been hyped up in recent years.

Universal Ostrich Farm and H5N1 Outbreak

At Universal Ostrich Farm (UOF) in Edgewood, British Columbia, a unique flock of over 400 ostriches, valued not for meat or leather but for cutting-edge antibody research, faced an H5N1 outbreak in December 2024. Wild migratory birds, likely ducks carrying the virus, contaminated the farm’s open-range setup through droppings or shared water, leading to a respiratory outbreak that killed 69 of the youngest ostriches, with two dead birds testing positive for H5N1 (more on this later). Of all the ostriches on the farm, it was only the younger birds that got sick and either died or recovered. These were probably birds that were never previously exposed to HPAI H5N1, whereas all the older birds had been exposed previously and have robust immunity, as they never got sick. The yolk of eggs from older birds (birds that were at UOF prior to 2021) contained antibodies for H5N1, suggesting the presence of immunity. However, following the positive test of the two dead birds, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) moved to quarantine the farm and pushed for the entire flock to be killed. Sadly, this is not about science but is complete government overreach to push a policy…or an agenda.

Killing the entire ostrich flock at the Universal Ostrich Farm is like if one MP got sick and we decided to cull the whole caucus.

To think that this farm will be the epicentre of a new pandemic or that these birds pose any threat is completely unreasonable. The risk of ostriches infected with H5N1 avian influenza transmitting the virus to the poultry industry or wild birds is low to negligible, based on their biology, behaviour, and the specific context of the December 2024 outbreak at UOF in British Columbia. Unlike waterfowl, such as ducks, which are primary reservoirs and shed high viral loads in faeces for weeks, ostriches produce less virus and shed it for a shorter period, reducing their role as spreaders. Their flightless nature and terrestrial habitat mean they don’t mingle in wetlands or migrate like wild birds, limiting contact with key H5N1 vectors. The farm’s rural isolation, with no nearby poultry operations, and enhanced biosecurity measures post-outbreak (e.g., restricted access, equipment disinfection) further minimise transmission pathways. With no new cases or deaths in the surviving flock of over 400 ostriches for nearly 10 months, survivors likely developed immunity, and environmental viral persistence is unlikely, as H5N1 typically survives only weeks outside a host.

The farm’s unique role in antibody research, harvesting Immunoglobulin Y (IgY) from ostrich eggs for treatments against diseases, like H5N1 and COVID-19, underscores the low risk, as these birds are managed differently from commercial poultry. Historical data show poultry outbreaks involve rapid, high-mortality spread in dense flocks, unlike the limited 69 deaths at the farm. The CFIA’s cull order, criticised for lacking recent PCR testing to confirm ongoing infection, overlooks these factors. Regular testing could eliminate even theoretical risks of human-mediated spread or rare wild bird contact without sacrificing a valuable research flock, making the risk to poultry or wild birds remote and manageable through surveillance rather than culling.

Ostrich antibody research primarily revolves around Immunoglobulin Y (IgY), the predominant antibody class in birds, which is harvested non-invasively from the yolks of ostrich eggs. Unlike mammalian antibodies (like human IgG), IgY offers advantages such as lower production costs, reduced risk of allergic reactions in humans due to minimal binding to Fc receptors, and high yields—up to 2–4 grams of purified IgY per egg, equating to about 400 grams annually from a single ostrich. This makes ostriches an ideal “bioreactor” for scalable antibody production. Researchers immunise hens with specific antigens (e.g., viral proteins or toxins), triggering the birds’ robust immune systems to transfer targeted IgY to the egg yolk for easy extraction. The process is ethical, avoiding animal blood draws, and aligns with animal welfare standards, as endorsed by bodies like the Swiss government since 1999.

Co-owners Karen Espersen and Dave Bilinski collaborate with Dr. Yasuhiro Tsukamoto (Kyoto Prefectural University, aka “Dr. Ostrich”) and Dr. Stuart Greenberg (Ostrich Pharma USA) to extract IgY for antiviral products. Early work focused on COVID-19 antibodies, inoculating hens to neutralise SARS-CoV-2, with eggs yielding scalable quantities for diagnostics and prophylactics like mask liners. The farm’s genetically unique flock (robust immune traits) has drawn global interest, but a CFIA cull order threatens this work, highlighting a problem with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) “stamping-out” policy for HPAI outbreaks vs research value. Sadly, even letters of support from RFK Jr. (United States Secretary of Health and Human Services) and Dr. Oz show that these birds’ antibodies could revolutionise flu prevention.

Stamping-Out Policy and Government Overreach

The WHO and WOAH advocate a “stamping-out” policy for HPAI outbreaks, a scorched-earth strategy involving rapid culling of entire infected flocks—sick or not—followed by quarantine, disinfection, and intense surveillance to eliminate the virus, protect global trade, prevent wild bird die-offs, and reduce pandemic risks from potential human spillover. While effective for mass-produced poultry like chickens, where one infected bird can devastate thousands and disrupt economies, this one-size-fits-all approach is a gross misfit for UOF. Ostriches are not poultry!!! They are 6-9ft tall with 7ft wingspans, weighing ~300 pounds and living up to 50 years. They are nothing like poultry. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s iron-fisted order to cull the surviving flock, issued without recent PCR testing to confirm the absence of H5N1, exemplifies government overreach run amok. It ignores the ostriches’ likely immunity, negligible transmission risk after 10 virus-free months, and their irreplaceable value for antibody research, which could yield breakthroughs against diseases like H5N1 and COVID-19. This heavy-handed mandate bulldozes private property rights, trashes unique scientific assets, and dismisses the farmers’ dedication to a pioneering operation, prioritising knee-jerk trade fears over science, ethics, and reason. Simple testing could confirm the flock’s safety, rendering the cull a wasteful assault on a rare resource with global health potential.

Testing of the Ostriches with PCR

The fact that the ostriches are “infected” with HPAI boils down to the PCR testing of two dead ostriches in late December 2024. What we know is that oral and cloacal swabs samples were collected from each of the birds, sent to the Animal Health Centre in Abbotsford and tested on December 21, 2024. All the Animal Health Centre testing showed is that the “samples” were positive for “Influenza Virus H5”. This testing does not confirm whether the virus in these birds is HPAI or LPAI. These swabs were then sent to the CFIA laboratory in Winnipeg for confirmatory testing. At this point in time there was no evidence that these birds were infected with HPAI, yet CFIA initiated the cull order without waiting for confirmatory testing.

The CFIA laboratory received the samples on January 3, 2025, where they determined the H5N1 lineage by full genome sequencing (8 open reading frames) and claimed that “the HPAI strain detected in ostriches at UOF represents a unique reassortment (genotype) of H5N1 not previously identified in Canada.” The sequencing results showed that this virus is H5N1 2.3.4.4 with “gene segments PB2, PA, and NP belonging to the North American lineage and gene segments PB1, HA, NA, M and NS belonging to the Eurasian lineage.” This reassortment would be a mixture of a highly pathogenic avian influenza virus (i.e., H5N1 2.3.4.4b clade) and three of the viral chromosomes arose from a low pathogenicity avian influenza virus. [A clade is a group of viruses that usually have similar genetic changes (i.e., nucleotide or amino acid changes) and have a common ancestor.] However, there is no actual way to determine if this is a high or low pathogenic strain without testing the virus on poultry, and there would not be enough viral material or even replication-competent viral material in the collected swabs to perform the testing required to determine pathogenicity.

Problems with the Testing

Over the past 5 years, we have heard many mixed messages about PCR testing. Having been the laboratory director of two COVID-19 PCR testing laboratories in Ontario during the pandemic, I can attest that PCR is a very sensitive and specific assay for detecting viruses. The problem with the PCR test is not the “number of cycles” that the test is run for, but the manner in which the test was used. A PCR test should only be used in individuals who have symptoms to determine which pathogen they are infected with, as it can only answer “Is this sequence of DNA/RNA in my sample?” The use of PCR testing during the COVID pandemic to test asymptomatic individuals drove a casedemic [the number of PCR positive cases irrespective of clinical illness].

While many have stated that the PCR assay produces 97% false positives, this is simply untrue. This statement comes back to the Borger et al critique of Christian Drosten’s first publication to detect 2019-nCoV. What Borger et al actually said was “If someone tested positive by PCR at a threshold of >35 the probability that said person is actually infected is <3%, the probability that said result is a false positive is 97%.” That is because for most PCR assays, cycle 35 is the assay’s analytical limit of detection; beyond this point, anything that amplifies can not be considered reliable. A real-time PCR assay is usually run to 40-45 cycles to see any amplification at the limit of detection.

While the testing has shown that the two dead birds were infected by H5N1 there remain a few problems with how the samples were tested.

1. Despite numerous requests for testing protocols, we have received no information that clearly shows what methods were actually used.

2. There is also no evidence that the swabs tested were actually taken from those dead birds

   1. There is no documented chain of custody

   2. There is no evidence that the PCR test used amplified material from the ostriches, as no ostrich housekeeping gene was used. Housekeeping genes (also called reference genes) are essential for normalising PCR assays, particularly quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR), to account for variations in RNA input, extraction efficiency, or reverse transcription. In avian species like the ostrich, a primitive paleognath bird, specific validation is crucial. A good housekeeping gene would have been hypoxanthine phosphoribosyltransferase 1 (HRPT), succinate dehydrogenase complex subunit A (SDHA), or tyrosine 3-monooxygenase/tryptophan 5-monooxygenase activation protein zeta(YWHAZ).

3. On the test report, the cycle threshold (Ct) when the virus was amplified was not reported. Therefore, it cannot be determined from the report whether the birds had a high or low viral load, and thus it’s only speculative whether these birds died from or with H5N1.

4. There is a huge conflict of interest with the accreditation of the Abbotsford lab is through the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD), an American NOT Canadian accreditation body, on which the Abbotsford lab director Dr. Tony Joseph, sits on the board.

Sadly, the farmers are not allowed to test their own birds without risking a $200,000 fine and 6 months in jail for each bird. Without testing these birds, there is no evidence that these birds actually carry HPAI H5N1. Therefore, CFIA’s claim that these birds carry the virus and need to be culled is purely speculative.

This is not about science, but government overreach and the pushing of a policy.

Some virologists, like Dr Angela Rasmussen, who is vile, opinionated, unprofessional, and would not be able to collect swabs or do the testing herself, believe that these birds are a health security risk and need to be culled. While it would take a week to shovel the ostrich manure pile in Dr Rasmussen’s Substack, stating that these ostriches are asymptomatic carriers and a health security risk is complete insanity. While Dr Rasmussen is correct in that it is impossible to completely rule out infectivity with PCR testing, these birds have been healthy for 10 months and have shown no signs of illness. This same reasoning can be used to say that “these birds are infected with Ebola, but we can’t detect it” is absurd, and is only used to push an agenda to proceed with the cull.

The stamping-out policy is not the only solution

While the CFIA are determined to enforce the WHOA stamping-out policy, this is not the only possible solution. While some, like Dr Rasmussen, push for vaccination of the birds, this is not a viable solution for birds that have already been infected and have antibodies. We do know that these birds have antibodies to H5N1 from Dr. Pelech’s testing of the eggs, but we don’t know if these are neutralising antibodies. Therefore, these birds must be tested by PCR for H5N1 and neutralising antibodies. Without that testing, there is no scientific evidence that this cull should proceed. Burn-out, not stamp-out: CFIA could also let the virus burn out and deem the birds virus-free after 12 months of no signs of illness. This 12-month period ends in just over 2 months, and CFIA has the option to hold off on the cull for 2 months and deem these birds infection-free.

Conclusion

The ostriches at Universal Ostrich Farm in Edgewood, British Columbia, should be spared from culling due to their robust survival and low risk of spreading H5N1. Despite an outbreak in December 2024 that killed 69 young ostriches, the remaining flock of over 400 has shown no illness for nearly 10 months, with older birds likely immune from prior exposure, as evidenced by H5N1 antibodies in their eggs. Unlike migratory waterfowl that spread the virus widely, ostriches shed less virus, don’t fly, and are isolated on a rural farm with enhanced biosecurity, making transmission to other birds or humans highly unlikely. Their unique role in producing valuable antibodies for diseases like H5N1 and COVID-19 further justifies their preservation, as culling would destroy a critical research asset. Instead of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s heavy-handed cull order, which lacks recent PCR evidence of active infection, regular testing could confirm the flock’s safety, allowing these healthy, resilient birds to continue contributing to groundbreaking science.

Sadly, many people will keep their head in the sand and not stand up for the survival of these birds. People need to rise up and support these birds. It is critical because the government’s overreach will not stop at these ostriches, with CFIA fixing its eyes on dairy cattle and people’s pets.

This farm is being persecuted for standing up against the CFIA’s stamping-out policy. There is a strong connection between these ostriches and the doctors and scientists who were silenced for standing on the facts against COVID-19 injections. Just like the Canadian truckers who stood up against the governmental mandates and got their bank accounts frozen and/or served jail time, it is clear that Canada is no longer a free country: if you stand up, the full force of the government’s hand will be upon you.

Just like Charlie Kirk, who stood for truth and doing what is morally right, these ostriches will soon be a CFIA martyr.
